I use this oil when I need to find some peace and connection to nature. Its a wonderful, crisp pine scent that I find very soothing. I use it before and during yoga and it has made my practice even more calming. Thank you for bringing the forest to me!
Hey Heather, you are more than welcome! So happy to hear that you love the Denali forest blend! It’s wonderful that it brings you peace and enhances your yoga practice. Thank you for sharing your experience! - Forester John ↟
The name of the oil struck something in me that that’s how I chose it. I love the smell of it and really liked the way it’s packaged into a tin container (?). I highly recommend :-)
Hello Carmen! I am glad you love the smell and appreciate the tin container. When I created the bottle design, I wanted it to be clear so you could see the color of the oil, giving you another subtle way to connect to it. The purpose of the tin can is to protect the oil from UV damage by storing it in complete darkness. Thank you for the review! - Forester John ↟
I have a sachet pillow which I treasure. It held its scent for such a long time. And now with thios new oil it will have a lovely fragrance for years to come! Thank you Forester John!
That's amazing Jen! Great to hear you found a creative way to enjoy the scent. Thank you for the review! - Forester John ↟
The Spruce-Tamarack is by far my favorite blend. It reminds me of the Tamarack forest of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The Black Spruce provides the pine scent that mixes well with the Tamarack’s more earthy scent. This one is a winner if you are looking for something different from a more traditional pine aroma.
Hey John! Great to hear that this scent reminds you of the Tamarack forests in the UP. It is definitely a unique smell. Thank you for the review! - Forester John ↟
When I read the tree listing on Sleeping Bear Dunes, I thought to myself, “Yep, that’s it.” I was not disappointed. Grow up by a State Park, this reminded me of my childhood climbing up the Norway Pines, natures ladder. Of course, it the spring you came home covered in sap and smelled of pine. Another on nature’s gift is the White Pine, a natural umbrella in the rain. There is nothing like being in a stand of White Pine and the smell of moist bark and needles after the sun comes out. This oil captures all of this.
The smell of spruces transports you to an old, deep forest of Denali. I place the scent near my bed when I can’t sleep. Very restful.
