I've tried various essential oils over the years trying to find the right scents . I can't believe that I haven't come across John's website before , but thank God I finally did . I have fond memories of camping as an adolescent , the sights , the smells , etc ... . As an adult I'am mired in a corporate atmosphere with its attendant anxieties and spend much of the time behind a computer screen which is not conducive to either my mental or physical health .
These oils are FANTASTIC ...THE REAL DEAL ( I got a kick out of the ingredients list on the aluminum containers which merely says , " trees in this bottle " ) . I plan to dilute them as use them as a linin spray ( especially pillows so that when I go to sleep at night can image myself in the REAL WORLD instead of the artificial man - created world that is passed off as reality ) .
I couldn't be more pleased with these scents , and am looking forward to " Christmas Tree Lot " when it becomes available after Thanksgiving . Thanks John
I go to the BWCA every year and one of the things I miss the most in between visits is the sweet smell that is unique to the North Woods. The first whiff of the forest air signals my mind and says “you are home now, relax”. This product is amazing and makes me feel that special feeling.
Thanks Forester John!
A friend told me about Forester John. I appreciated his website and journey. The blends focus on the trees specific to each forest. The aroma is bright, energetic and opening. Given his unique background and approach it will be interesting to see where the blends go - I expect they may adapt given forest fires, climate change, harvesting consderations, different plant species represented and the overall dynamic nature of each forest.
Purchased the sample pack. Would have liked 1 pipette for each bottle. Appreciated the packaging and shipping.
Thank you Forester John
I like bogs, I like the smell of bogs, but when I saw this I couldn’t quite imagine what it would smell like. Answer: bogs. It smells cool and refreshing, piney but also a little grassy. A unique scent for sure, someone might even choose to wear it as a light cologne. I enjoy this one when I get home from work, comforting and smells like hiking.
I previously lived in Estonia and enjoyed not only our forests but those in neighboring Finland and into Sweden. The taiga is one of my favorite landscapes in the world and this smells so deliciously piney and good, not like a cleaning product but very much like northern Scandinavia. The smell of midnight sun and aurora borealis! I know each tree smells differently, but having also ordered the Sax-Zim Bog scent (also accurate!), I can attest to each of these smelling very unique from one another.
