Go back to your peace and calm

Description:
Do you remember that woodsy smell from your campsite?

The ratio and species of trees in this essential oil was thoughtfully crafted to mimic the forest composition of what you would typically find growing in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCA).

If you have ever been to the BWCA you may have noticed that the lakes are often lined with northern white cedar trees. I made sure to put a good dose of cedar essential oil in each bottle to capture that calming smell.

Throw in some pine, spruce, and fir and you are right where you need to be.

Just for you;)

-Forester John

my favorite of the bunch!

I tried Forester John's sampler back and the BWCA blend ended up being my favorite (and not just because I am a fellow Minnesotan, although I may be a bit biased). It is unlike any other blend I've ever smelled before; woodsy but with a sweet, almost fruity twist. I can't get enough of it.

Thanks! If I had to choose one blend I would also go with the BWCA blend. The scent is so fulfilling it is hard to describe. I am not sure how I pulled this one off :) - Forester John ↟

I'm in the kayak!

Purchased the Bound Waters...and Olympic...; filled the diffuser, sat in my recling glider, closed my eyes, and in my mind's eye/nose I was sitting in my SWIFT doing a slow paddle!

Yes! Thank you for sharing this Margaret! Ok, I am going to swing away in my BWCA hammock for a few minutes... ;) - Forester John ↟

BWCA Memento

My partner and I, both in our early 60s, spent a weekend in the BWCA last October - his first time there, my third with a twenty-two-year gap. Fortunately, Mother Nature granted a break in the rain and early snow. Sun and slightly warmer temperatures provided wafts of cedar and pine - scents we both love. In other words, we lucked out, and can now reclaim a bit of that experience through the BWCA blend. My other fir or pine essential oils can't compare, even with an attempted blend. The BWCA "notes" are that distinct.I bought the BWCA blend as a holiday gift which hasn't yet been diffused it. Yet, clearly, it's appreciated. My partner even commented on the quality packaging design! Fun to see him, keeping the metal canister close by on a reading table, occasionally removing the bottle and indulging in the scent. Great work, Forester John!

Hi Karen! Thank you for sharing this! The BWCA is a magical place. If there is any way to help place us there then our day is that much better. I am so happy that you and your partner are able to experience this:) Cheers! - Forester John ↟

Beautiful, sweet smell

A really great compliment to scents like the Hoh Rain Forest. An earthy and slightly sweet smell, it's welcoming. I also dilute it and add to shaving oil!

Hi Brian. Now that is a new way to use my product that I have not thought of! Thanks for sharing :) - Forester John ↟

love this blend

Never been to the Adirondacks, but I am certain now that they smell fantastic...

Hey Christine! You are on a roll! Thank you! I am glad you are happy. It is hard not to enjoy the clean and fresh notes of this blend. Bliss to you ;) - Forester John ↟
a delight to breathe in

I was surprised this blend didn't have more reviews- it really is an excellent mix! One sniff from the bottle and I can hear the wind whistling through the conifers...

When I had all my blends out at a Minnesota Twins game series this one was consistently the favorite by those who stopped by to give feedback. Similar to the BWCA, it has a complex aroma, not quite as sweet but hit more high and fresh notes. Thanks again! - Forester John ↟
a heavenly smell from the PNW

I've never been to the PNW but after having smelled it in this blend, I just might have to go.

Hi Christine. Thanks for the review! The Olympic peninsula is a magical place. I have been there twice. The trees have there own unique smell that differs from the other blends. I am glad you like it! - Forester John ↟

Give them a try (they're all great)!

Getting out in nature is unquestionably good for the heart and soul, but in the dead of winter it can be tough to get one's Forest Therapy in. So glad I discovered fellow Minnesotan Forester John and his essential oil blends! I ordered the sampler pack so I could try them all and it took me weeks to decide which ones to order in the full size. I eventually chose Acadia, Adirondack, Olympic and BWCA - but they are all good, all different, and all worth a try.

Thanks Christine! Yes! I could not agree more with you what you are saying. These oils are a great way to feel a sense of connection to the forest in winter. I also have a hard time choosing favorites. They all are similar yet also different. You made some great choices. Thank you for the review! - Forester John ↟
